Our transfer window was still very disappointing

Sure, but regardless of what you think about them, they both have significantly more PL experience than any of the kids in the academy, so ultimately they are bound to be better. I do think loaning them would have been a good option IF we signed at least one other full back to cover. Point still stands.

The fact that we left it to the very last day to sign someone, albeit a good signing in Minamino, especially after all the failed attempts, smells like desperation. The point is, we should have sorted this out some time before deadline day rather than going down all these dead ends before Minamino- admittedly this is flimsy, but it still has some validity because to me, it feels like Ralph is somewhat being restrained. Perhaps that’s a reach, I don’t know.

I know we won’t be able to spend big in the summer. People underestimate the effects of COVID and it won’t be possible. All I’m hoping for is some form of full back cover before the season starts, or at least before the summer deadline, as well as perhaps a permanent attacking option.

2-3 players, especially if they’re loans/in-the-10million-region, isn’t too much especially if we have people leaving the club.

Fixed the mistake with Vokins.
