Casually dated for about six months. We lived a few hours away from one another, but she was a pretty cool girl so I stuck with it. Maybe 4-5 months in I caught her sneaking around through my computer, social media accounts, etc. and it raised the red flag immediately. She became jealous and combative, so I decided to end it.
I broke it off during an argument on the phone one night. Would have done it in person, it was a 4 hour drive. She flips her shit and says "You wouldn't do that if I were standing in front of you. You couldn't break up with me to my face." So I say "I absolutely would, but it's a long drive." We both hang up and go about our evenings, and about 4 hours later the doorbell rings. Roommate goes to answer and then calls me downstairs. It's like midnight at this point, and my ex is standing in the living room. She says " ... well?" I say "Yeah, it's still over." She starts crying, turns around and leaves. Drives the 4 hours home.
Over the next few weeks it's just a barrage of emails and phone calls and whatnot. For the first two or three I tried to be understanding, but it got to the point of just annoying. Just let it go, ya know?
Then she got creepy. So during the time my ex and I dated, my sister was 5 months or so pregnant with my niece. Because they lived in the same town she and my ex would hang out sometimes. We'd been broken up about for 1-2 months, and she called again crying and saying that she'd been thinking about my niece. "Why the hell would that matter?" I say. She says "Oh, just because we're not together does not mean that I'm not going to be a part of that baby's life ... " The fuck you just say?
I hang up and immediately start drafting an email to document the insanity I'm facing. I recap everything in writing, send it back to her with the first line "I'm now considering this harassment." Things about 3 pages of every call, email, voicemail, etc that I could find post break-up, just in case things get super weird. I send the email and forget about it.
I met a new girl (she's my wife now) and life's been good. It's been 5 years since I'd broken up with this girl. 5 years. But without fail, every single time I see her - maybe once a year now for mutual friends' weddings - people find her crying in the bathroom, or hammered drunk at the end of the bar. Every time. I'm too old for this crap.
TL;DR She did have fantastic boobs though
