Our true Lord & Saviour [SFM]

Nah. Every Halo game has had at least one issue that keeps it from true and utter perfection.

  • For CE is was the very repetitive level design. Just copy and pasted rooms.

  • For 2 it was the cliffhanger. I was left so frustrated when that ending appeared because I was totally ready to finish the fight.

  • For 3 it was the gameplay. So many issues (slow thuggish movement, horrible hit detection), etc). Also had a very bad netcode too.

  • For Reach the issues become a more serious. I for one despised armour abilities, Bloom was annoying as fuck, I didn't like how they retconned so much of the books (still loved the story nonetheless).

  • Unfortunately 4 has a lot of issues. Almost the entire multiplayer sucked, Forge was a shell of its former self, campaign mission design was linear and boring, art style change was completely unnecessary and the story's dependence on expanded material sucked.

  • Oh Jesus, The amount of god damn issues I have with Halo 5's story could be its own fucking novel. I'll very quickly sum them up :

  • The story was absolute shit. I can list about 30 reasons as to why but I'll leave that for another day.

  • Theater is broken

  • BTB is the worst iteration yet

  • Multiplayer focused way too much on the competitive scene.

  • Even more of the artstyle changed

  • Req system sucks

  • Warzone was fun for like 4 months but had so many exploits people took advantage of that nearly every game is lopsided and snowball'y.

  • Armour customisation is at an all time low since Halo 2

  • UI is lazy

  • Game launched with half the content of Halo 3 and it took months (even a year) for everything to be added back in.

  • Aiming is incredibly broken

  • No earning armour just get lucky in a random gold pack

  • Who the fuck knows how many scout hog variants

  • No Oddball, No KOTH, No Juggernaut, No Invasion,No classic Firefight.

  • Arguably the worst map rotation in the series.
