Pearl Abyss - Q&A (plus balance)

You see, since you actively play this game i assume you do not mind doing nothing but kill mobs for so long.

But try to look at it from a neutral perspective:

You kill the same mobs for approx 60-80 Hours. You also spend quite some time from 56-59, which also takes a very long time killing mostly the literally exact same mob over and over. There is no change of scenery while doing this, its not engaging. You jump into the pack, delete it quickly and go over to the next.

There is a real reason why mmorpg's from the east are often negatively described as "asia-grinders" and have been shunned in the past. Doing the same activity without proper reward for so long, and even worse if that activity is just repeating itself(like working in a manufacturing factory or something, the same thing all day long) is not fun to an overwhelming amount of people.

This is also the reason those "asia-grinders" struggle so much in the west.

BDO has an awesome world, characters, combat and lifeskill system. If they just went ahead and did the same what BnS, Aion or Tera did, adding dungeons that are challenging, giving you an opportunity to actually engage in PvE with OTHERS (its an MMO after all) while at the same time offering skilled/geared players to clear these dungeons solo.... I do not see what could be wrong with that. Those who don't like this kind of thing can continue grinding gahaz for 300+ hours, but those who actually like dungeons or even larger scale PvE things will come to the game and bring new players to it, and that is something that really won't hurt, would it?
