On the one occasion that I can think of where this has occurred in my presence I didn’t know how to handle it. It was really odd to me that someone that thought themselves an empath would then go and tell every single person around them. It was at a place that’s like a day out and so all these people she was telling, she’d never met before. Everyone she told was then treating her like some kind of saviour. One woman even said to her, ‘I knew you were special when I saw you come in.’ I just held it all in because I felt so many things from this. To make it worse I was getting the feeling from her that she was looking down on me and somehow annoyed by me. Hope I never have anything like that again. Also sorry if this doesn’t make the best sense how I’ve written it, I found it hard to put into words. But basically I bottled up my feelings over it. I didn’t confront the person or anything. I was just in disbelief.
