I'll give you some minor SPOILER to ease your mind a little. And you decide what to do. I had the same fear because that kind of thing afects me badly.. and usually to me is BS and nothing more. But I read so many good reviews.. I hesitated a lot.. I ended up reading it. And I loved the book with all my soul. Of course, the only reason I give it a chance was because the victim is druged and black out. So you don't read the thing happening. The victim doesn't remember anything and justice is very well handled. Of course to the victim it's traumatic anyway and you read about the post process of dealing with this in a very human and maybe real way. It's not just some horrible thing the author wroted and later forgot about it. This is a huge thing inside the book and the story. In my opinion is very well writen. This started a war.. And part of the next book will be about this as well. What I meant is this is not an isolated plot nor a bad writer garbage tool. The author invested a LOT of plot and characters growth around and because of this. For all the main characters. Remember this is romance as well. And is beautiful. You might wonder how? After that thing hapened? Well I can't recomend this book enough. And the wait for the second book is killing me..
