Poland backs Franco-German ‘European Security Council’ plan

Syria and Crimea, if there were a popular vote - the resolutions would have passed but a certain cunt country decided that wasn't a good idea thus blocked it from happening.

I think when the UN was being named at the White House (Churchill and Roosevelt) - I don't think they thought so much bullshit would have happened. It used to frankly be controlled almost entirely by the US which is why it was so effective during the Korea War, but the power is far more distributed (which is great, how it should be) BUT how they decided to vote on things is moronic.

I agree with many things to improve the EU but I'm totally against this proposal. There seems to be a desperate need to form better security within the EU, it's constantly discussed but don't back just whatever - especially when it'd mirror a failed council.

There's literally nothing to say the same thing that happens at the UN wouldn't happen within the EU. Not only that but the EU has more bureaucracy than any other agency I'm aware of, it's maddening and a big reason why countries like China and US can get things done while the EU lags behind, especially when it comes to security.
