Our take on every Beatles song, ranked

Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End How is that classed as a Lennon/McCartney song? All three are wrote by Paul

Norwegian Wood How is Harrison credited as a songwriter on this and Paul is not? According to John it is primarily his but Paul helped on the lyrics "Me but Paul helped me on the lyric." Like Penny Lane, Yellow Submarine and Eleanor Rigby it was primarily written by one writer and helped finished off by the other.

Tomorrow Never Knows is just John, not sure why George is mentioned as a co-writer. I Am the Walrus, Hey Bulldog, Rain and Come Together is just John as well. I'd also put Ticket to Ride as just John but there is some input from Paul, though it's primarily John's.

Here There and Everywhere is one of John's favorite songs but completely Paul. I'll follow the Sun is entirely Paul, wrote when he was 16.

This is a pretty good list of who primarily wrote what, though with a few mistakes http://www.myrsten.nu/worldnet/beatlesongs.htm

While http://www.beatlesebooks.com/ goes into much greater depth with many quotes from all Beatles and others on who wrote what for each song.
