POSSIBLE SPOILER: The Rock did it.

Chris Evans’ Captain America isn’t Joe Johnson’s Captain America.

That's my issue with Marvel though. It is actually Disney's Captain America. The lack of an individual's vision, but full corporate vision is rearing it's ugly head in Marvel's phase 4 and destroyed the DCEU. Imagine if we would have gotten Edgar Wright's Antman or if Sam Raimi had full control of Dr Strange 2. Even in the MCU, there are the rare few properties that the director is just as important as the cast the same way Snyder was, such as Guardians of the Galaxy. That movie property is entirely based James Gunn and wouldn't be the same without him. And I consider the Guardians movies to be the best in the franchise behind Infinity War. The Guardians of the Galaxy have an individual vision from an artist rather than committee.
