PS5 Help & Questions Thread | Tech Support, Error Codes, FAQ, Orders and Stock updates.

I’d agree IF they separated employee sales from general public sales, designating days for employees to get specific stock and noting that to customers. Having people wait for 5 hours in the cold because the “shipment just arrived but won’t be unpacked until tomorrow so get here at 7AM” and then selling all of those PS5s to employees right as they clock out of shift the previous night, knowing they told people to wait until morning is inconsiderate.

Not to mention, depending on the area you are in, there are entire organized groups of customer service members texting their buddies, hiding consoles and then selling them to friends. Not for personal use, but to instantly hit the social media marketplaces at a premium. There should be one per employee, enrolled on a sign up sheet and they should have to wait for designated stock, and no selling to buddies just so they can add to the already saturated scalper’s market.

Walmart workers aren’t the only employees of businesses putting themselves at risk during the pandemic. I work in healthcare and am exposed daily, should I get to jump the line and get a text from my buddy when my PS5 is ready because “I deserve” it more than some person who is sitting right beside me on my night off freezing to get one for his kid? No way.
