I’ve got two dogs that are on-leash reactive but only around our apartment complex where they’ve had bad experiences with other dogs/sketchy people. Literally anywhere else they couldn’t give a single damn about anything being near them (except skateboards—one of them still hates those). The younger one plays rough as he’s a Belgian Malinois/German Shepard mix and when we take him to the dog beach I’ve had a lady yell at me because she thought my pup was biting hers. He was absolutely not attacking hers but she was being so dramatic that I just kept him going down the beach. The pup LOVES all dogs and has never attacked anyone/any dog, he’s got a vendetta against bull dogs though as one attacked him at a dog park when he was 6mo though. But even then—doesn’t go to fight them, he’ll just bark on leash.
