i have a narcissistic dad and a manipulative mom; i dont know if either of them is psychopathic, but dad outwardly seemed to disregard much for the well being of other people in general (not very empathetic for sure) and mom would appear to be a highly empathetic person to most, she’d make statements that suggests she cared for anyone’s suffering, and many people like her. but i often notice how she manipulates people to her cause. and shes not always truthful. if they are psychopaths i’d say they do mask up. mom more so than dad. but i suspected that they aren’t really the same as most people, because their moral take on certain issues can be quite refreshing.
