A question for you

I know you’re probably asking for the thoughts of those individuals who working on recovery. But as a partner I’d like to say that even just lurking I’ve found this group to be far more active and helpful , whereas the other group I feel like I’m in a sub I shouldn’t be in, it feels far more like a meeting only for addicts and less like a forum for open support. I feel guilty that I even skimmed that subbed, like I read someone’s journal without permission. Hopefully that makes sense. This sub is also about 11,000 users bigger so I feel like if I have a question about how best to support my husband or what I can expect my/our future to look like I’m far more likely to find someone in this sub who can say “hey medical chaos our stories sound so similar let me walk this out for you a bit”

I think user flair and a requirement for post flair may be a more helpful middle ground. That way as users scroll we know who/what we’re dealing with upfront. If that’s already a requirement and I missed it then please disregard, I’ve recently joined several subs about infidelity and it’s a lot to keep all the rules straight right now while me head is spinning from everything else still.

Thank you for taking the time to read my rambling.
