[Quora] A Bihari narrates the situation Bihar was in under Lalu.

Well, I do understand where is our bias coming from.

I'm still confused as to how the central governments interference is a speculation despite the facts. In fact, there have been instances where the center acknowledged it and further stated that it will not interfere in state's functioning.

Examples:

  • Center withdrawing after MHA's notification was slammed. Center said : It will no longer interfere.

  • CNG probe

  • Appointment of chief secretary

  • ACB chief

  • MCD fund mismanagement

While these are few instances, I can describe very local situations where BJP has directly or indirectly has interfered in state governments functioning. While almost every state has PWD working on roads, many roads in my locality are under MCD too. The road in front of my house was under MCD but because there is an active AAP wing in my area, the volunteers got PWD to level it. A total of 4 days later, not only did the volunteers get a fine to do this, MCD ACTUALLY went forward and dig up that leveled road. It was fucked up!!

I'm in no way trying to justify AAP. In fact things which you have mentioned like:

unrealistic promises just to win and once in power he understood (or maybe is still clueless about) how powerless he is in the face of economic & ground realities

He seems totally incompetent for the job and there is neither clarity nor consistency in his governance

... are in fact, very very true.

And the disgusting parts like:

supports people & parties like the Congress, Lalu / Nitish / Mamata only and only because he wants to be on the other side of BJP/Modi

Looks like his ego was hurt because he lost against Modi or something and wants to do everything he can to throw dirt on Modi

... are also true

But considering that the center is interfering in the working of state government as a speculation is wrong.
