R/AltRight Banned. Even if you don't agree, Censorship is Wrong.

If you don't want to follow rules, you can just not post on the subreddits/subverses that have rules that you don't want to follow.

By not following those rules, you are opening yourself up to the removal of your comments.

This is why CTR and trolls are so critical to remove.

Say it with me, friend: When rules are in place, I agree to follow those rules to the best of my ability, and acknowledge my agreement to do so. Should I sway or directly go against those rules, I acknowledge the consequences of those actions.

If you want everyone's comments to go without deletion, you invite arguments from CTR and trolls who cry that they are being suppressed when they deliberately troll and attack Trump on this subreddit. That is unacceptable.

I'm a leftist now because I don't believe in deleting comments you arbitrarily deem offensive?

No, and like your inability to understand why rules are in place, you seem to have again misinterpreted what I'm saying.

By saying something like "...maybe your speech should be restricted", you are moving away from the argument itself and attacking me personally.

You are not a leftist just because you use the methodology of their arguments, but that is still a low energy argument.

You simply can't argue against rules that you agree to; by doing so, you are being deliberately disingenuous because you don't understand that again, freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences, and the consequences of breaking a rule means you receive punishment for it.

Banning /r/altright is censorship because there is nothing on Reddit that prevents you from making a private subreddit based around a political leaning or legal (but distasteful) discussion.

Banning an offensive troll who is breaking rules is not censorship because you submit to the rules that someone in charge puts in place. You could avoid the place, you could find a different place to speak those opinions, but instead you willfully choose to break the structured rules.

I have seen enough of this on Voat so far to understand pretty intimately how the Voat community would react to what is necessary heavy-handedness that our mods take with trolls and CTR shills, and moving to Voat is simply not the answer.
