Absolutely! For a first keyboard the Q1 (especially V2) is really good. And allows for a lot of low-level tinkering to get you acquainted with Keyboard modding. My first build, which was a V1 Q1, was plate swapped to FR4, tape modded, force break and polyfil (ended up scrapping the polyfil and replacing it with a 1mm poron sheet down the road).

I only want something else because I now use a Zoo65, which feels more premium than the Q1. But struggling to adapt to ANSI when I have to use ISO Nordic at work. But given the lack of options, I might just build another Q board.

One issue is that mods like plates and such are really expensive to import to Norway, might not be an issue in Germany since at least you skip import fees from EU orders. And the keyboard hobby overall is very expensive for non-Americans.
