Total noob here. Came to mechanical keyboards for the typing experience and the customization. Just got a Keychron Q6 (assembled, w/ knob) as a first foray into the mk scene. Only had it a few days but I'm having trouble getting VIA to work.

With the Q6 connected and using an updated version of Chrome, I go to caniusevia.com, go through the process of starting the app and hitting the "authorize device" button. The Q6 appears in the pop-up, and I click to connect to the device......and nothing happens. The keytester page works. But that seems like it would work no matter what.

It seems like VIA used to have a downloadable version of the software. But now it seems that you can only use the in-browser version. (I'd much prefer a downloadable app, FWIW.) Anyway, thought about a factory reset but I am so new at this I wanted to make sure that was necessary before trying it. Any help would be appreciated!
