/r/NotTheOnion is looking for new moderators!

  1. Central, USA

  2. I am on reddit constantly, moderating and remaining active in posting to my subs.

  3. I have 3 years experience, with a default and some large subs. I enjoy the teams I work with and helping to promote the subs.

  4. I want to help mod here because I love a new challenge, I enjoy moderating and staying atop the spam controls.

  5. I do not think opinions should weigh as heavy as they used to. I ink the community speaks loudly but the communit also needs guidance and controls set so they can have a better experience. Those controls include removal of certain words, language, behaviors and abusive members.

  6. No, I have not.

  7. I think the current rules are fine but everythng is flexible as the needs for moderation change.

  8. I will follow when the path is clear and challenge when they are unclear directives. I believe that a diverse group that communicates well is better than a diverse group that just argues.

  9. I do not browse very often independently, but it is in my feed so I do see the new queue.

  10. I love all sorts of movies for all sorts of reasons, but HotRod, Step Brothers, Star Wars trilogies and sci-fi are faves.

  11. I do not see the workload being heavy. Paying attention to the unmodeated links will keep most busy, and it's hard to tell without seeing what controls you have in place. I use AM a lot, so I am sure that will help keep things flowing.

  12. Finishing up Archer on FX, ready to start It's Always Sunny, maybe on Amazon video...again.

  13. I mod with a few of the existing members and we get along well, I think. I would love to join the team and help with as much as possible.

Thanks for taking the time to read any or all of this. I am sure you will find the right blend to help with your needs, I hope it includes me!
