The r/Popheads Playlist submissions:"Everything But Pop" Edition

I'm sorry, I just find it a bit difficult to interpret what exactly you mean by this. Some troubles I was having:

  • Indie rock/Indie whatever that is pop structured and accessible? This includes, but is not limited to, Weezer, Sufjan Stevens, Arcade Fire, Animal Collective (MPP songs mainly), The Avalanches, Beach House, Vampire Weekend, The War on Drugs, The Smiths (+a lot of other classic indie), Radiohead on occasion
  • Electronic/House material that are kinda pop? Includes stuff like Daft Punk, Justice, Neon Indian, Disclosure, Kaytranada, Porter Robinson, Madeon, M83 (Because I submitted Midnight City as a throwback onto this sub and it has my highest controversy rating in my account, or at least it's close)
  • Bjork? I'm not even including her but a lot of ppl say she's pop (art pop) but under your definition she walks a fine line sometimes

ofc there are some entries I'm thinking of that clearly aren't pop by any stretch of the word but there are some songs I like even more that are a questionable fit
