I like how I can say things here which I have no courage to say IRL lol.

Inner ear condition is worsening, at this rate I would be fully deaf within the next 5-10 years. I am starting to forget how my room fan sounds like originally and dreading the next cold wave where I have to switch off the fan and lose my only source of white sound.

The thought of it terrifies me. I know I can wear a hearing aid but those things don't come cheap and I would still have to take them out when I sleep so I would still have to endure this shitty multi frequency ringing/humming. Stress makes it worse so good luck to me surviving uni/work I guess.

Maybe I could just end it before I lose my hearing and before this ringing drives me crazy. My older bro would still be around to take care of my parents and I feel I'm kind of a burden to them now. They would grieve for a while but probably get over it. I have few close friends IRL so I won't be causing too much pain I hope.
