I've worked in a hospital monitoring baker acts in florida(suicidal patients). There are absolutely ways to monitor for them. The healthcare system is also fucked up. I've seen baker acted people released after a hour because they don't have insurance. If they had insurance, they'd be kept for 72 hours.

Also, none of their records will show up on a background check because hippa laws. That is a fucked up system. If you want a "actionable plan", there's one thing to fix. Requiring background checks on private sales is another.

If you look at most of these shooters, they would fail a background check based on that.

I also feel like the left is incapable of coming to the table to actually pass things. Take the bill they just posted. Straight to a ban they know is will never pass. All to grandstand.
