Is it Racist? : Dolce & Gabbana’s New Ad Campaign Sparks Uproar in China

I'v been on social media and seem the storm; as I say, the usual people who happen to take offence at everything, even when it's not even their culture.

Some people just like to find things to moan about, pretty much a fact of life.

I am not Chinese, but I have Chinese people in the office who don't understand the anger; but hey we all interpret things differently right?

I can go about my day and take offence at everything I feel is part of me; my culture, my interests and hobbies, my sexual preference - but it makes for a pretty sad existence IMHO, that's all.

Born in Britain I am always seeing people depict us as either tweed wearing posh talking tea sipping buffoons, or if you go the American route, bad teeth, badly dressed, bad cooking, knife crime, rats ridden slums... and red busses.

Why would I find this offensive?

Maybe the culture in general is different as to seeing things as offensive and being very sensitive to instagram posts?

Either way, not here to change your mind - you have every right to find whatever you like offensive if you so wish; I just wanted to balance the fact out that fact doesn't make it any less offensive than me taking offence at something you've written.
