Did you not get that I personally own 2 of the next most voracious breed of dog? I’m not saying you shouldn’t own the dog you want, any dog can be fine with enough dedication. I’m glad you love your dog

The point is that we need to be realistic about what kind of care these dogs require, and not advocate for these types of animals to be house pets. Mine live in the house sometimes, yours lives in the house, but I’d never recommend it to someone who I wasn’t sure had experience with raising dogs and working with naturally aggressive animals. These pit forums online that pretend like pits are just such naturally sweet animals ready to become a house pet are doing tons of damage to families that weren’t prepared for what such an extreme breed of dog can bring to the table, and actively contributing to the insanely large number of deaths and maims caused by this breed every year.
