[RANT] The racism and hatred on this sub towards "BIMARU" states shows hypocrisy on this sub

Population is not just a problem for India but for the whole world - the Earth is "overpopulated", let's deal with it at a global rather than a local level.

"Famine 1975!" is a best-selling 1967 book by William and Paul Paddock which discusses the problem and solutions. The book is endorsed by Paul Ehrlich who is the Stanford Bing professor of Population studies - and the person who invented the term "Earth's carrying capacity".

People in software development may be familiar with the term "Bug triaging". During triaging, we take up the list of bugs and split them into 3 buckets - bugs that need to be fixed now, bugs that needs to be fixed but can wait for sometime, bugs that can be marked "won't fix". The term triaging comes from doctors in war fronts. They used to triage patients into 3 buckets to prioritise treatment - patients who have to be treated immediately else they will die, patients who may be in lot of pain but can be treated later, patients who are anyway going to die, so no need to waste resources to treat them.

The book similarly triages nations into 3 categories

1) Those who can be saved with help and need to be prioritised.

2) Those who are suffering but who will stagger through without help

3) Those so hopelessly headed for or in the grip of famine (whether because of overpopulation, agricultural insufficiency, or political ineptness) and cannot be saved (the Bimaru nations)

As per the book, India falls into the third category (hopeless), so at a global level the solution was deemed to be to let India die - so that these resources can be used by nations who will be able to make use of these limited resources to survive and prosper.

So guise, for the greater good, let's go with this. Don't be selfish. We all know poor people are cause of the population problem - as a poor nation, we are the cause of the earth's population problem.

India is the Bihar, UP, Rajasthan of the world - we breed like rabbits - compare India's fertility rate of 2.5 with that of the developed nations. - cutting out India will help the whole world use it's resources better.

Jail Hind!
