No. I think Ram’s mention of manusmriti may have been a medieval addition. Mansumriti completely fails to bring any sort of spiritual or philosophical discourse within the Hindu fold,

We aren’t abrahamics and there’s no such thing as “disrespecting manusmriti”

Manusmriti is a “smriti” meaning “what Is heard”. Not all smritis have the same importance. Manusmriti is a jurisprudential text that deals more with legalities of the material world, it isn’t a philosophical speculation by a Rishi, or even a spiritual yogic path way enshrined by brahmanas. More important Hindu smritis as well as the over all Hindu philosophy completely derides anything to do with the material world. With an over concentration on the affairs of mortal sleeves, the manusmriti fails to provide any spiritual or philosophy value. Yeah

The foundational Hindu texts are- The Vedas, starting with Rgveda for the hymms and poems, and ending with Upanishads for the philosophy. Then, Bhagvad Gita, serves as the synthesis of everything before, and compiles Hindu thought and philosophy in one geet.
