Here you have it:

First take a look at this image, this was announced a time ago..

I have probably figured out all these madness of this game.

Before you start to read my english is not 10/10, I apologize for that!

When The Division was released world-wide, all these expansion that will come by winter was already developed and finished.

Now here is the big mistake they did instead of focusing on quality and putting effort on mechanics and game design they actually developed all these expansions, imagen if they would have released this game world-wide and had put all the time and effort on the actual game itself instead of those expansion.

If they would have done it we could have seen this:

  • Anticheat, Why do you think there is no anticheat that detects 3rd party applications which is a standard thing? Why are people able to use Cheat Engine which is a program that usually is used for Facebook games? They are saying that they have some kind of tracking system but to be honest I dont think there is one. Beacuse I have come across people that use hacks and they just laugh about it, its just a way to calm players down. There is no proof that a tracking system exists and that people are actually getting banned by it. All we know is that people are getting banned by their report tool.
  • Less exploits and glitchs
  • Balanced loot and gear progression
  • Longer endgame progression so we dont need to sit and wait for new content(How the endgame is today is just a strategy for them to be able to release these many expansions in a short notice.)
  • Quality Assurance which is the processes, tools and people focused on defining and implementing the processes to prevent defects.
  • Quality Control which is the processes, tools, and people focused on detecting defects.
  • And alot more...

But instead they focused on developing all these expansions and ship this unfinished game.

Just think for a moment why did they do this approach beacuse they are very clever with this strategy.

I'd say by winter most of these issues will be fixed, but guess what? We need to pay for it beacuse these major fixes and balances will be released with each expansion after the next free incursion update that will probably fix the minor things.

My prediction:

One of the expansions will make sure that stats/gear will be reseted so only DZ level and probably PxC will be the only thing that will be useful in the game. So everyone that used glitchs/exploits/hacks back in the days will be in same level as legit players.

How?

PxC is getting a cap(Thats a lead right there!) and DZ level have a cap already. and legit players will be able to come to a level that meets the glitchers/exploiters/hackers. All this will result in good working balanced game.

So to the conclusion:

With this strategy they will profit good, by letting us believe that when each expansion arrive some parts of this game will be balanced and fixed, and that will make us buy the expansion.

I have over 9 years of experience when it comes to MMORPG and I have seen all kind of strategies when it comes to DLC, expansions and updates in games. Based on my experience I made this conclusion.

If its right or wrong, I have no idea but it makes sense..

Let me hear what you guys think.
