Recently finished my internship. I started freelancing and decided to make a start animating logos I created for my portfolio. :)

I made all of them quite a while ago so it's hard to recall, it really depends.

For example, I can remember the second logo was done pretty quick, I made it with a very thick marker on paper, tried a handful of designs, 2 papers full. Made a photo on my phone, Image traced it on Illustrator and did a bit of touching up.

Some logos were done in almost one go, some took multiple days to get right.

As for the animation, I finished this one in 2 days (I believe approx a total of 4-5 hours, probably spent 1 hour of those trying to think of what type of animation to do with what logo.)

What I've come to realize, is that once you've gotten to a point where your "technical design skills" are good, it's all about creativity (and the type of client you get)

There were logos that were done very fast, and the client was happy with it in one go. There were a few logos where they took quite a while to get right. I think the client with the most revisions was about 15+ and took probably 2 weeks. (the logo ended up being quite simple too)

Sorry for such a wall of text, but hope its helpful, and thank you! :)
