I graduated years ago but i recently found out that one of the music teachers was baited into almost deadnaming a trans girl. There's a video where the teacher is taking attendence, he gets to the trans kid and says their chosen name 3 times, the kid is just sitting in the back smirking. The teacher looks at the kid and says "come on, if youre not going to answer to this name im going to call you by your real name." The class erupts and the video ends. The guy was forced to retire. What's sad is this teacher was one of the good ones. He bought insruments out of his own pocket for the kids to play and organized fund raising to host a rock concert for all the kids at the end of the year. He won awards for his music program. A kid was filming before it even happened, i dont know the whole story (maybe this happened more than once) but it was super obvious the teacher was set up.
