Redditors who have been on a "reality" show, what happened behind the scenes?

Family Feud (American version). I wasn’t on it, but something like a decade ago I was one of the “100 people surveyed.” They don’t tell you it is Family Feud though. When they call you they just say a well-known TV show wants your opinion. The questions are the exact same ones from the Game show. On one of the questions, I remember I mumbled through it before I flat out told the truth - I have no idea. But the surveyor she just said “Okay” and continued typing. I think the surveyors have a giant list of potential answers and pick the best one if the surveyed don’t give a clear answer. I don’t know that though. But I definitely remember that she flat out helped me with the suggestion of what I might mean when I was blabbing on another question. I think it had something to do with the color of fruit or doubling coupons or cutting coupons. I just remember being lost. One of the questions I remember clearly because I nailed it. “Name something that you iron?” My quick response: a shirt.
