Reebok dragging Addidas down! Minimal/No growth in NA market 3 years!

That last article is not very good. Adidas' rebound since 2015 has been driven by the success of its marketing campaigns and new product offerings. Two years ago people that are into sneakers couldn't have cared less about Adidas and were all over Nike and Jordans. Now things have done a complete 180. Everybody wants Adidas and nobody gives a shit about Nike, which is evident in the inverse relationship between the ADDYY and NKE stock charts. The partnership with Kanye West has been the catalyst for growth in the US and the brand as a whole.

Kanye announced he was moving from Nike to Adidas, a picture of him wearing Ultraboosts showed up on the internet, everyone started talking about Ultraboosts, Ultraboosts sold out everywhere. People started to talk about how comfortable they were and word spread. Then Adidas released the first batch of Yeezys, they sold out instantly, with prices fetching between $1200-$2000 depending on the model and colorway. That's when people really started to focus more on Adidas than Nike. After that, Adidas released a new model: the NMD. They have become a huge cash cow over the last year, with multiple colors releasing nearly every week. Many of these also sell out.

It's crazy how much influence that douchebag has but it is what it is.
