Because NotAllMen are exhausting.

It’s not that common for women hang out in predominantly male spaces searching for blanket statements so we can say “But I’m different!”

But these “NotAllMen” dudes are everywhere. All the fucking time. Letting us know what nice guys they are. Diverting attention to themselves.

If men want to talk about how they “wish women would split the cost of a first date”, for example, I don’t care. It’s obvious they don’t mean every single woman on the planet. I am not feeling attacked in the slightest. I’m smart enough to know it’s hyperbole and I don’t have to invade their spaces to tell them how very special and different I personally am.
