I am saying that Buddhists who call for death do it because they are hateful and evil people. Islamists on the other hand are hateful and evil people who can use holy scripture to further their arguments.
That's why I am saying that fundamental Islam is violent, because fundamentalists follow the holy book, well, as it was fundamentally written. And there are quotes calling for violence against non-believers in the Quran. Buddhism on the other hand doesn't have those same hateful quotes.

Here are some of the worse quotes from the Quran. Violence is literally a part of the religion, especially due to the fact that the holy book is treated as the exact word of God, unlike most other religions which view their holy books as human transcriptions of God's teachings. Buddhism literally does not have passages like this.
And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- îaram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

This quote says that because the Muslims were expelled that they should come back and kill those who expelled them.

That (is the ordinance). And if Allah willed He could have punished them (without you) but (thus it is ordained) that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain.
