I have always followed the "first dibs" rule, even if it wasn't official, and I expected others to do the same. I thought it was just a given.

Sort by new and the one that appears at the bottom is the one that comes first. Only time level comments count for requesting the movie or movies that you're going to buy. It's that simple, isn't it?

Also, I have been beaten out literally by seconds many times. I can tell because, aside from which comment comes first according to what I just put above, you can see the exact time atomic was posted and I've seen people beat me by like 4 seconds. It really isn't hard to tell which comment comes first and so first dibs still applies.
