A resolution with Richard Sherman is likely within three weeks.

I'd love to keep richard sherman as long as possible, given our roster depth and how much he influenced me to be strong in my opinions. I find it hard to see him as only a player for that last reason, to me, he is awesome. A true badass. But I know we can't keep him forever and that makes me sad and all, but; like LaDainian Tomlinson is only remembered (historically,) for his Chargers days, if he ever leaves, I'll remember him as a Seahawk. A few posts up, it was said that players like him aren't easy to come by, and it is a very divisive topic. Just don't ever forget that, football players are just people that are, athletic and willing to play an intense sport, but are still just people; with frustrations and strengths and angers and happys and whatever other stuff to fill an analogy. I know, as a fan, I was quick to turn on players in the past when, in reality, that player never turned on the team. I'd like you to respect him as a player, but moreover as a person. I've fucked up big before but some people never gave up on me, and isn't that the Seahawk way? Keep going until the fat lady sings, until the final whistle? Don't give up on the dude. He's cool, and deserves the benefit of the doubt from us, even if we don't all agree on his behavior. It could have been worse, no? I'm not in with the official Seahawk crowd, and I don't think many of you all are either; I do think Pete Carroll has a good handle on his team and maybe R.S. felt like he could speak to his head coach like that because he trusts Pete with his emotions and thoughts. I know at least some of you had to carry some family through hard times, and that's what last season was, to me. I smell like garth. Party on

Edit: fucked up some more punctuation
