No, they don't. They just don't. Aimbots have 100% accuracy, absolute top tier players may have very close.
I'd say in arc cannon fights on console between 2 atlases if you miss more than 3 shot's you've lost the fight. The ogre gives you the oportunity to tank a few extra shots and it doesn't knock your shots off completely if they hit you so even if they hit you first you can still effectively return fire.
Okay, unless you have shield core, if the enemy titan has a wall while you don't, and you don't retreat (which if you're in ogre, will take you a while plus you're probably exposing the massive crit spot on your back) they will do significant damage to you before the wall goes down, enough to make your health pool less than theirs anyway, and they can still retreat if they need to.
You don't retreat with this loadout. You might have to move back sometimes but you never retreat. I make sure the enemy never has a wall when I don't and if that does happen I will use shield core which will allow me to move back a bit to finish recharging my wall.
If you both have walls, you're not gonna be able to take their wall down faster than they can yours in any way that's meaningful
Not true. You can shred particle walls like paper.
If the only damage you can do to enemy titans is hit their shield before they move behind cover and regen, and you are never able to follow up, you are worth less than atlas that can at least trade with another atlas, no matter how many walls you take down.
I don't think you're understanding me. This loadout helps to move the game along so the allied titans can break enemy lines and you can get up in peoples faces with your chaingun. You kinda have to let your teammates get in there and then you'll be moving around to the sides for flanks. Yes you could get there faster with a stryder or an atlas but there is no need for retreat once you get in there because you just have so much damn health.
Those walls will just recharge anyway, and you cant follow up while their wall is off cooldown because you're too slow.
If they get a new wall I'll shed that one too.
