Well sorry In advance to anyone reading this... It's going to be a long reply... You guys know he is from a smaller town and at this point only backed by 1 other person. I used to live in Richmond county in Rockingham where this guys from and its pretty much the most backwards town in the state, and is seen as such by the rest of the state. I doubt they have the money to do much with it even. Give it the same amount of truth and support and tell you're success story.. Really show them how unjust they're being and the fact that this will ease opiate addictions to harsher drugs.
His history as a senitor isn't impressive and nothing he's done on his own has gone anywhere. They lack education and probably thinks he's saving lives (as he did list it on the bill as an opium derivative) and are literally what you pictures a redneck being. I doubt anything will happen, but please make sure it doesn't. I think this Senator is just trying to get his name out there. He's probably having a party right now getting hammered and telling people(I imagine the whole town being there) he's going to stop this from claiming any lives, and feeling like a million dollars because the world is paying attention instead of nobody.
He also could be in bed with big pharma... He was apart of an needle exchange bill and an opiate study bill as well.. Which was just referred to the health department and stayed there. Next time some post that page with the text and case information click his name and really see what were dealing with here... Some hillbilly republican from bumfuck that thinks hes relevant enough to decide what the whole state can put in there body s literally looked at by the rest of NC as such. Trust me, this bill coming from Richmond County is better then a well developed area with more money trying to make it happen. Don't back down and keep being just as strong, but I feel better knowing how much of a nobody this guy is tbh.
The county's so backwards he probably wasn't voted in but knew the right people or family that he got in, and I don't see it going much further then this. Like I said though keep this going and fight
Anyways since I'm new I'll give you guys a quick background.. I'm moving back(luckily not to that area) in a month and I just placed an order through CH because I'm tired of Suboxone. Before that it was Iv dope and opiates prior to booze and pills(adderall and benzodiazepines) I tried Kratom and that lasted all the way untill there was an free suboxone source and just gave sub a try (this being a horrible mistake) I live near Baltimore and its everywhere. I've been lucky enough in Edgewood though to not shit where I eat and my friend that got my into it decided to just move out there Kratom keeps me free and is interesting enough to keep me interested and sober. Richmond I pretty easy to doctor shop in and I'd rather just have my Kratom instead of temptation. If this can save someone that's been to the point I was at, I'm embarrassed to even be in the same state as this senator. Give that hillbilly hell.
