Kratom as Pre-Workout is insane

I've been dosing whites or green pre-workout for about 2 months now. I've been lifting for the last 10+ years pretty seriously, I'd consider myself an intermediate. I said that to say that I've been particularly keen to notice how Kratom both improves and hinders my workouts. First, the drive that i get is absolutely insane. The adrenaline component that i get from the music, the exercise, and also the way i light up when seeing the other regulars in the gym. Absolute 10/10 as far as that's concerned. I also do notice an increase in intensity, i want to take shorter rests, and love going past failure with Kratom.

What concerns me particularly is the possibility of injury. It's easy to get a little sloppy with the form or overdo it, and I have to pay extra attention to my shoulders and lower back as i have pre-existing injuries there. So mainly, be extra careful while lifting, and don't let your form or cautiousness get away from you. Kratom is a powerful dehydrator, it really helps bring out the definition, but I saw you mentioned in a comment that you are well hydrated.

A small, a somewhat negligible side tangent is that Kratom (as I'm sure every user is well aware) has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. The reason this can be a problem is that the inflammation process after a workout is what drives growth, simply put: you want inflammation after a workout. Not forever, but for a period of time afterwards. It's for this reason that, in this very nuanced discussion, it's a good idea to place your antioxidants (and all things with anti-inflammatory properties: NSAID's, ice baths, etc) a few hours after a workout. I believe this might really only be significant to people who are seriously trying to drive muscle growth, like, a bodybuilder for example. For me, and probably the rest of the average world, this might be almost negligible. Training will give your muscles a reason to stick around, and cardio will give your body a reason to burn calories. Honestly, i'm in the best shape of my life right now and Kratom has helped out a lot by cutting my appetite in half and also having a diuretic effect. So, im loving the "dry" look Kratom helps me achieve. I'm also on self-administered TRT, so maybe my experience isn't entirely typical.

The only downside is that I'm so fucking happy in the gym I can get a little giddy with strangers, I've effectively made friends with all of the regulars because of this. Okay, now that I type it out maybe that's not a downside at all. Lmao
