Retail/service workers of reddit, what's the best instant karma you've seen happen to a rude customer?

There used to be an old lady who frequented our department store who would give us a hard time at the counter over discounts and items she wanted to buy, but only if they were given at a discount, she was the worst. She was really rude, calling the girls "stupid" etc when they didn't give her these imaginary discounts she thought she was entitled to, and she snubbed her nose at everyone who worked in the store. She was just a mean wrinkly old cuntbag.

One day, whilst I was working, I could our security team scoping out someone in our store, and although I couldn't see exactly what they were watching, I knew something was going down. One of our security guys made his way over to me and said something along the lines of "can you help us out, I need to stop this woman who has been shoplifting for quite some time in our store, but I need a female there in order to stop her"...so I agreed and proceeded to exit the dept store and follow a woman down the escalator...When she turned around after being grabbed, I finally saw this perpetrators face! It was HER. This little old satanic lady who was such a bitch to everyone, was getting caught stealing! We marched her through the store into this little back office where she proceeded to hang her head in absolute shame as we had to then call her husband to let him know she had been caught stealing and that she would be banned for 2 years from our shopping center. I could see from the tears streaming down her face that she was obviously quite upset about it all. I think the shame she felt having to call her husband made it real for her. I didn't laugh in her face at the time, but damn I felt smug about it after. RIP Margret !!! LOL
