I keep hearing the criticism of the world being 'empty' and that there are no enemies or wandering npcs.

I have no idea what game those people have been playing becuase I cannot go two minutes without coming across npcs walking along roads, fishing by rivers, farming in fields, standing around ruins, not to mention all the little workshops and villages scattered throughout the map. I'm always getting ambushed by enemies when going through an area for the first time, at a frequency that is making me think they are respawning. Not to mention all the smaller animals constantly running across my path prompting me to catch them for karma.

Is there a different biomutant game that came our alongside this one that people on youtube have been playing? I cannot understand how this criticism keeps coming up from people who claim to have 100% completed the game in 20 hours. (Which I highly doubt because I'm 60 hours in and only 45% done according to the journal with 3/4 puffs and 4/5 tribes conquered and ~70% of the map explored, and well over 30 sidequests complete)
