Rian Johnson Says 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Backlash Gave Him "Dark Hour Of The Soul"

Another couple quick thoughts.

Ben is the skywalker, and this is the skywalker saga.

Adam Driver is the fourth billed cast member, after the OT three, before any of the other ST characters. In TLJ he's third billed after Luke and Leia.

Screen time is a tough one to go by because he so rarely has protagonists to interact with; in TFA he's on less than finn and rey, but I'll be curious to see how much screentime he has in TLJ.

The fight you're talking about does mean stuff for Rey's arc, but it's not really that important. The person who it's important for is Ben/Kylo. It's his arc, and his arc closes TFA because in a strange way he's the main character.
