Ron DeSantis Says He’ll “Win On Every Single Issue” Involving Disney, Vows To Void Florida Theme Park Development Agreement And Threatens Hotel Taxes And Road Tolls

People leave for Florida to escape high population density areas. They don't want to pay income tax. And the sunshine. Currently, the reason for the high rate of people moving there is they are able to work remotely. If companies become really strict about employees going into the office again, a shit load of people will have to leave Florida.

If it wasn't for Disney, Florida wouldn't get the tourism that it does. Those tourism bucks are what keeps Florida afloat. It is Florida's economy. Desantis hurting Disney, by making it more expensive, means less tourism. If he plans on substantially hurting Disney, he will wreck Florida's economy, and those people who fled for Florida would regret moving there. Considering it is now one of the most unaffordable states to live in, I'm unsure if people knew that moving there wasn't as good as advertised. Florida also has a catastrophic insurance crisis brewing. Seems like picking a fight with the mouse is levels of utter stupidity, and further proof that tiny, fragile, wannabe autocrats will risk crashing the economy for an ego stroke.
