Plus playing in an easy league. Most of Messi's goals were in a 2 club league. The number of times lesser clubs got spanked 8-0 was crazy.

All you can do is look at players who played in both leagues. Look at how many players struggle when they move to England and do better going the other way. Perfect example is Gareth Bale.

Goal ratio HALVED moving to Premier League. Clear proof that the lower clubs in the Premier league dont roll over to the top clubs as much. There is way more depth in the Premier League as well as the divisions below that. Teams coming up have access to more money. Lets not forget that the Spanish League TV money split had 90% going to Real and Barcelona for over 15 years.....

That goal ratio of Messi and Ronaldo is only possible in the Spanish league where bottom clubs make no effort.
