‘Roseanne’ Cancelled: ABC Scraps Season 11 After Barr’s Racist Tweet

Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on this, as this was a topic in a philosophy class.

And I Just want to play devil's advocate. And it really doesn't have anything to do with what you said msrichson.

The definition of discrimination, the non political one was "recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another."

Applying this discrimination onto a large group of people whom you never met (isn't smart, is racist, and acting with violence is always bad).

But what about on an individual level? Im attracted to a certain type of person, in a sense I'm discriminating against the other types, that's not necessarily a bad thing right? It's just my preference.

Another quearion, is it racist if I find one race more attractive on average to me than another?

I think most people think discrimination is inherently a bad thing but really it's just a way to make a judgment or decision right?

Thanks.
