Round 9 - Fantasy Football & Supercoach Results and Round 10 Trades/Lineups Thread

After throwing your team into a Bye Planner, your big bye rounds look kinda like this (where best/worst case scenarios hinge on Maloney, Napa and Frizell playing Origin):

Round 11 14 17 18
Worst Case 9 11 13 17
Best Case 9 13 13 17

In terms of Positions (worst case scenario):

Position Rd 11 Rd 14 Rd 17 Rd 18
HOK 1 0 2 0
FRF 2 2 3 1
2RF 1 1 1 5
HFB 0 1 0 1
5/8 1 1 1 1
CTW 2 4 3 5
FLB 2 2 2 0

So you can see your CTW/FLBs are reasonably solid, not a priority except come round 18 when you will probably want to cut Hoppa.

Your 5/8/HFBs don't have the best by schedules, but having Norman certainly helps. If Maloney isn't picked for Origin you'll get a game out of him in Rd14 as well. Halves are a higher priority than your backs, but still not really pressing as there aren't many good targets in this position over the byes.

Your 2RFs could certainly use some bolstering, as although you may get Napa in Rd 14 and Frizell in Rd17, you're still only getting one game our of each of your second row. I might suggest targeting this position first according to the Bye Schedule I'll mention lower.

At HOK you aren't too strong. I wasn't a fan of jumping on Granville myself, but he's made some quick cash despite that head knock the other week. Depending on when he peaks in cash, I'd consider trading him out to someone who plays the big byes (Luke - if he and Madge sort their differences out, Peats - as a reasonable POD who is impressing despite the presence of DeGois, or even Lichaa/Mbye - who play 11 and 14 and you'll have Seggy back for 17).

And finally at FRF, having both Burgess will sort you out through origin as they both play all big bye rounds. You may look trade in another FRF or two (potentially a FRF/2RF dual?) bye round 18 to cover their absences. Not a priority in terms of bye coverage.

Here's a quick infographic on bye coverage.

You need to keep this in mind when you make your next few weeks of trades. You will have a few cows ready to cash in soon (Blake/Gennings/Lisone/Turbo/Granville etc.), look to shop these guys to cheapies with bye coverage (eg. Hoeter, Gray) or keepers/long term prospects with good bye coverage (eg. Walker, Graham, Lowe, Mannering/Matulino etc.)

Hope this helps!
