Yeah, I get that, but seems like a risky/bad choice given the typical attendance for most Florida (non-collegiate) sports teams is typically bottom half of their leagues, with the exceptions of the Lightning and Heat. And all I get from that is that if you’re winning, you have high attendance, but if you’re mediocre or worse, your attendance is gonna be really bad in Florida (not really surprising).

I haven’t seen anyone mention OKC yet, but that could be interesting. The have the minor league team, the NCAA Softball tournament is there, OKC is wild about the Thunder. They’re also in that weird Royals-Rangers-Cardinals limbo of fans, which also means you’d probably get decent travel from those teams, and OKC has an airport (not much of one, but still). Not saying it’s be a front runner for choices, but I think it could be interesting.
