I have a very racist neighbor in my apartment building. For the past 4 years. It wasn’t apparent until I hung a little BLM flag in my window. He tried to physically fight me, a woman, because of it.

However, over the past 6 months I’ve brought my boyfriend (poc) around a lot. It wasn’t until recently that almost everyday the neighbor backs his truck into a space in front of my window, grills food and plays the music so loud we can feel it. It’s so awful that I am moving - mostly because the surrounding area isn’t that friendly to non straight, non white, non Christians. For the first three years I’ve lived here he never did this. He did it away from the building at an appropriate distance.

While I am safe, I choose to move because I don’t think my boyfriend should deal with people like this.
