I think 99% of the frustration with the Stern Show, and Howard himself comes from the disjointed "mail it in from home" show that he's doing now. At least thats why so many people on this sub bash him.
It's fair to say that 99% of those on this sub have gone back to work, or never stopped working.
Covid is over. At least it's 100% manageable, and certainly less of an issue than ever before, yet he still uses it as an excuse not to do an in studio show where he actually has the ability to put out "bits" and have a show that flows and where his staffers can play off each other.
On ZOOM, only one person at a time can talk. Which is great for meetings, but terrible for a multi-cast member radio show.
LONG Covid (Stern's biggest fear) appears to be the Epstein-Barr virus, not Covid, (Chronic Fatigue syndrome), which is aligned with another Epstein-Barr virus iteration- Mononucleosis.
So, once he gets out of his cave, and starts to do a better quality show, I think the criticism will drop off drastically.
