The top 1% that owns the vast majority of the wealth should pay the vast majority of income tax.

The problem with these stats is it doesn’t account for all the tax exemptions in dividends or corporate taxes. It’s not just Bezos who needs to pay way more, but Amazon, too.

The fact that anyone under the poverty line pays anything while Amazon paid zero is bullshit. The fact that Amazon pays nothing while people go bankrupt over a car wreck is bullshit.

Tax the ever living hell out of billionaires and companies and stop bailing out bankrupt corporations. It’s not that hard to understand. Why does a low-end government employee have to shoulder the brunt of all our social health in every conservative’s view instead of the mega rich. It seriously makes no sense when even “upper class” righties making a measly 399k/yr bitch about social democracy when even they aren’t who we mean when we say we need the rich to pay their share.
