that being said. the guy was a prick. whether the soldiers didnt give it their all in battle or their little whore army wives got a pension if they died, it doesnt matter. because the only reason people rushed with marriage is because they wanted to have sex, which is stupid and insincere in the eyes of the lord and all that stuff. not much has changed until this day. bunch of hypocrites, they buy each other a valentines card, get married, have sex, get divorced, and gg. it just bothers me so much that there is a, like 50% divorce rate. like wtf. means those people arent true believers (which would be implied since they went through the hassle of doing a church marriage and all that bs). and they said in front of their god "in health and in sickness, in good and in bad times".. and on the first sign of bad times, they get divorced. well, fuck you. you knew what you were getting into. if you husband beats you, thne he doesnt love and cherish you, so he is in contempt of god and should get whipped or something. and if you want to divorce him for his mone,y you are a fucking godless whore. but i dunno. those people think of themselves as christians and then trample on their wovs before god. there should be a clause like: if oyu beat up your spouse, you get excommunicated from church and your marriage is void and you cant get married ever again in the church, but the other party can... but that would be difficult to enforce. maybe just go to the police. hmm.. but what if only your husband works and you have no source of income.. hmm.. is this why we have women safe houses, but not men.. hmm.. whose fault is it.. well.. in short, people should love and cherish each other like they promised and not be hypocrite assholes and weekend christians like 90% are.
