The extra candy was something else. I had saved up over 200 pinap berries for the event and ended up with enough candy to max three different 3500-4200 CP Pokémon that I couldn’t get candy for before.

What I’m upset about is the trash spawn pool before each new event and how this event reminded me of being online in 2016 when I could walk around and find 6 dratinis around me if I used one of those websites that showed where certain Pokémon would hang out and when rare Pokémon were somewhere in town.

Event was worth it for me, I was able to get 3-12 rare candy from the legendary birds each run and triple digit rare candy after using 3500 coins.

Only real major grievance from me were the times I used a dozen golden raspberries and threw an excellent curveball and still had at least 10 of the legendary birds end up escaping. It was zapdos who escaped every time.
